“The new project of late Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob Nowell, Jakobs Castle is the sound of two worlds colliding in perfect union. The Castle aims to connect the insouciant sounds of California’s past with the fresh mystery of internet underground culture. Imagine laying face up on the beach as waves of retro synth melodies wash over you like static, your body slowly dried by the heat of the emerging sun and skank guitars. Jakobs Castle is old meets new. Beach meets internet. 90’s Underground meets Hyperpop. It is a sound that is both pretty and gritty. 

Active since 2022, the band consists of vocalist/frontman Jakob Nowell (formerly of LAW), guitarist Eric Walsh (formerly of Authority Zero), and drummer Chris Bartholomew (formerly of As Blood Runs Black). The Castle has toured the country with emerging young artists such as Sitting on Stacy, as well as legacy musicians like Jason Devore and Slightly Stoopid. As of 2023, Jakobs Castle is an officially signed Epitaph band, with plans to release new music through the label in the coming months along with numerous tours in the works.

With the burden of purpose and expectation held proudly, Jakobs Castle seeks to break all convention and usher in a new era of California Music.”

Mistress Of Reality: World Famous All-Female Black Sabbath Tribute

“Twenty years ago, when the world was a very different place, the original founding members of Mistress of Reality came together as the first women to celebrate The Godfathers of Heavy Metal, Black Sabbath. That was during the summer of 2003.  Known as the dark Goddesses of the tribute scene these 4 talented ladies toured both the US and Europe for more than 2 decades. They channel the music’s heavy rumble and back it with the pure rock solid leaded loudness that became Black Sabbath trademark sound. 

In recent years the band has also taken on the name Madame Ozzy and released their 3 song EP on multiple platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Madame Ozzy was honored with an interview on the BBC News during Black Sabbath final farewell concert in Birmingham England. 

The ladies pay tribute to both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne’s solo career. They perform his classic hits such as Crazy Train, I Don’t Know and Flying High Again. A Mistress of Reality show promises to deliver a big Rock arena feel with the energy of true “Girl Power” that will have everyone on their feet!”

“Somewhere in-between the tropical lounges of 1930s Los Angeles and the honky tonk beer joints of rural 1950s California, you'll find Poi Rogers. Hailing from Santa Cruz, CA, the duo performs original and vintage country & western swing, Hawaiian steel guitar ballads and cowboy tunes.

Gerard Egan and Carolyn Sills won a 2024 Ameripolitan Award in Austin, TX, for Western Swing Group of the Year with their other group, The Carolyn Sills Combo. They are both inductees into the Sacramento Western Swing Hall of Fame, and Carolyn was named the Academy of Western Artists’ 2021 Western Swing Female Vocalist of the Year. They have released four albums and one doughnut to date with The Carolyn Sills Combo and will release their first Poi Rogers album in 2024.
